This profile recommends AL (always) for the value of the MSH-16 Application Acknowledgement Type field in the PCD-03 message to receive complete messaging processing confirmation. If this support is not feasible, this profile recommends that the IOP value the application acknowledgement field with ER (error/reject), so that the IOC will only send an application error when it is unable to process the requested order.
